I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Applied Moral Philosophy at The University of Oxford, on the Wellcome Trust funded project “Neurointerventions in Crime Prevention: An Ethical Analysis

Prior to this, I completed a DPhil project at Oxford University entitled, “Autonomy, Rationality and Contemporary Bioethics”, supervised by Julian Savulescu and Roger Crisp.

My research interests lie primarily in issues concerning personal autonomy in practical ethics, particularly topics pertaining to informed consent. I have also written on the ethics of various applications of deep brain stimulation, the ethics of human embryonic stem cell research, and the use of gene-editing technologies.
