I am the Parfit-Radcliffe Richards Senior Research Fellow and Manager of Visitors Programmes for the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, University of Oxford.
I work in applied ethics – my research interests lie primarily in issues concerning personal autonomy in practical ethics, particularly topics pertaining to informed consent. I have also written on neuroethics, the ethics of human embryonic stem cell research, criminal justice, public health, human enhancement, and gene-editing in humans and animals.
